Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals

16-Hour Women-Focused Handgun Course | $250

Firearm and self-defense training is not one-size-fits-all. Comfort, body mechanics, lifestyle, clothing, carry preferences, and previous experience can all affect a woman’s equipment and training decisions.

This welcoming 16-hour course was developed with women in mind and supports both first-time and experienced shooters. Students explore situational awareness, handgun selection, caliber and ammunition, malfunction response, safe firearm handling, marksmanship, defensive pistol fundamentals, carry considerations, and the legal use of force.

Based on the USCCA Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals curriculum created by Beth Alcazar, this course presents important subjects in an approachable and supportive environment. Students can build practical skills, make informed decisions, and develop greater confidence through responsible firearm training.
