LiveScan fingerprinting is available during select Veterans First training classes as part of our convenient one-stop service approach.
The fingerprinting service is performed by our trusted partner, Absolute Investigative Services, Inc. This allows eligible students to complete an important application step without scheduling a separate trip to another fingerprinting location.
The appointment generally takes approximately 15 minutes. After processing, you will receive the documentation needed for the applicable Maryland application process.

Bring the required identification and application information
Complete electronic fingerprinting during the scheduled class
Keep the receipt available for your Maryland application
Receive your LiveScan fingerprint receipt or submission documentation
Fingerprinting is provided by Absolute Investigative Services, Inc. and is available during select Veterans First classes. Availability should be confirmed before your scheduled class date.
Completing LiveScan fingerprinting does not guarantee approval of an HQL, Wear and Carry Permit, employment license, or other application. The appropriate government agency determines eligibility and application approval.
