Children are naturally curious, which makes clear, age-appropriate firearm-safety education an important part of protecting the entire family. This class helps parents, guardians, and children develop a shared understanding of responsible behavior around firearms.
Our family-focused course introduces the four universal firearm-safety rules, what children should do if they encounter an unattended firearm, safe-storage practices, accident prevention, basic firearm terminology, and the importance of immediately involving a trusted adult.
The material can be adapted to a child’s age, maturity, and previous experience. Our goal is to create a positive, welcoming learning environment that replaces uncertainty with knowledge, respect, and safe decision-making.
Important Information for Parents and Guardians
This is a classroom-based family firearm-safety course. Children will learn age-appropriate safety rules, accident-prevention strategies, and what to do if they encounter a firearm.
A parent or legal guardian must attend with every minor. The class does not include live-fire range activity. Please contact us before registering to confirm that the course is appropriate for your child’s age and maturity level.
